Arwin Hidayat (b. 1983, Yogyakarta) is a vibrant contemporary Indonesian artist whose work fuses primitive folk forms with a modern, surreal visual language that draws from dream, memory, and cultural mythology. Trained at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta, Arwin has developed a signature style across mediums, including painting, drawing, ceramics, batik, and murals.
His bold, layered compositions have captivated audiences not only in his native art scene but also internationally: notably, his work is held in the collection of the prestigious National Gallery of Victoria in Australia and other museums in Korea and German.
